Like the subject says about an hour ago I started having problems with one drive (installed from the app store) not responding. I had to keep killing the process from the command line. Finally I uninstalled the app. Then when I went back to the App Store and it starts on the 'Featured' page it takes forever to load and even then it doesn't update any of the graphics associated with a given app. I searched for one drive and clicked install. It then fails and tells me to look in the purchased apps (where I already was) and to try and reinstall. It seems ridiculous that there is only email support or discussions community to deal with issues that are related to a core software package integrated with Apple's products whether they be iOS, laptop, or desktop devices. Is there anything I can do to get this resolved in a reasonable amount of time?

Microsoft Store Downloads Taking Forever
I have Windows Vista, it can be an important download but takes forever to process and then often fails. asking me to re-try again! Very Frustrating! Please Help!!!!
See your almost identical posting made later: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_update/why-does-windows-downloads-take-too-long-run-very/eee3ff9d-c957-4030-940a-35ef4070f653
Otherwise, here is what I answered there:
Check for malware:
Download, install, run, update and perform full system scans with the following two applications:
Removing everything they find. Rebooting when needed. (You can uninstall one or both when done.)
Then perform an online scan with the eSet Online Scanner.
Apps Taking Forever To Download Iphone
Free up some hard drive space and get it organized:
Click Start, type Compcln.exe and press ENTER
Click Continue when you see the User Account Control elevation dialog.
Press Y when you see the following message: This operation will make all service packs and other packages permanent on this computer. Upon completion you will not be able to remove any cleaned packages from this system. Would you like to continue? (Y/N):
Use Disk Cleanup to eliminate more temporary files safely.
So I took a flight and put my phone in airplane mode and when i landed I noticed about 5 apps were darkened trying to update. Well they weren't updating and just sitting there darkened out. Apps taking forever to update? My Apps always download pretty quick unless I'm not on WiFi or don't have a strong LTE signal.
Sometimes these apps take a little longer to complete installation on slower devices because the processor needs time to install all the files. If after 10 minutes you are still stuck, then move on. Try to delete the app: In some cases, you can actually delete the app and try to re-download it and re-install it again.

You can use an application that scans your system for log files and temporary files and use that to get rid of those:
Ccleaner (Free!) http://www.ccleaner.com/ ( just the disk cleanup - don't play with the registry part for now )
Those can help you visually discover where all the space is being used. Then you can determine what to do and what to delete/archive.
After that - you will want to check for any physical errors and arrange everything for more efficient access..
CHKDSK (from MAXIMUMPCguides.com)
Open the Start Menu and click Computer.
Right-click the drive you want to perform a check disk on and select Properties.
Click the Tools tab in the drive Properties window.
Click Check Now under error checking.
To perform a complete check of your hard drive for errors check off both options in the check disk window that pops up.
Click the Start button to start the process.
If you are trying to check a hard drive that has open files you’ll get a message similar to the one shown below.
Click Schedule disk check. Disk check can’t check a hard drive that has open files. Your computer will reboot and check the disk before Windows Vista boots up.
Defragment How to Defragment your hard drives * will take time
Reset the Windows Vista Update Components..
The less you have running all the time, the better the things you want to run will perform:
Use Autoruns to figure out what all is starting up when your computer does/when you log on. Look up anything you do not know about using Google (and/or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things starting when you computer does (or you logon) that you do not need and then configure them (via their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not start up - using your resources without reason.
You can download and utilize Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking up your processor/CPU time and memory. This can help you recognize applications you might want to look into alternatives for and/or get rid of all together.
